Initiated in Istanbul in 2018 by Gözde Mimiko Türkkan, SyncSociety is a phygital art network which creates and propagates content.In order to build the physical presence of SyncSociety, Mimiko transformed their family apartment located in Cihangir into a hybrid space called SYNChouse. Rather than being conceived as an artist runt space, SYNChouse is a ‘speakeasy’ project house accommodating get-togethers syncing art, artists and artworks with a wide range of audience.
